Sander

This position entails preparing assembled white wood furniture to be finished using various abrasives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Thorough sanding of all wood furniture and components as required 
• Use of hand and power sanding equipment
• Use of wood putty

 JOB RELATED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of wood, sand paper types, and grits
• Knowledge and proper use of wood putty
• Ability to stand and bend over prolonged periods of time
• Knowledge of various sanding tools and ability to perform basic maintenance on the equipment
• Ability to do repetitive motion and heavy lifting
• Valid driver's license 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years in a production environment
• High school diploma or G.E.D
